Selected Scene: Kitchen drying dishes
In this scene Jenny's father is explaining that securing a place at Oxford University is no longer vital as her newly found boyfriend; David, can provide for her. This follows Sheldon Stryker's theory that we interact with others in order to create identity; Jenny has entered into a much different lifestyle since interacting with David when before she has been under the collective identity of a young school girl who works for an education instead of having fun. The scene emphasises the change in collective identity.
