Red Rider - How time period is set
The scene were Dunford drives home to see his family, we see his authentic 'Morris' car and his dark heavy suit, which supports the tome period of the 70's. We also see him enter an under developed estate, with dark mise en scene and old stone building materials. There are other older cars down the street as he enters. The house its decorated in a dark green colour and has beige wallpaper, we'd relate this design to older houses as newer designs always seem brighter. his family all wear similar clothes to his, and style their hair in a conventional way; His male family all have greased back hair for example. The representation makes the 70's look unwelcoming to live in, due to the dark mise en scene and the corrupt representation of the police and news.
